House Renovation Sheffield (Dore – Rental Property)
We recently carried out a full building renovation on this house in Dore, Sheffield, on behalf of a rental company called South Yorkshire Homes. The project involved taking the ageing house back to brick and revamping it into a modern and contemporary house fit to be let out to a family in the area. The landlord was keen to get works started so that it could be rented back out and so he could start to see a return on his investment.
This project took approximately six weeks from start to finish and all the building work inside and outside was carried out by Nu Build.
Key Elements of this House Renovation Project
- Stripping out the old carpets and curtains
- Knocking all the plaster off back to brick
- Full re-wire
- Full combi- boiler central heating system
- Re-plasterboard the whole house
- Insulate the loft space
- Remove the chimney breast to make the kitchen and bedroom bigger
- Fitting a new kitchen purchased from Howden’s in Rotherham
- Fitting a new bathroom supplied by Better Bathrooms
- Fitting new carpets
- Fitting new Polysafe Camaro Loc flooring
- Full decoration
